beautiful bod.

i got my bike last night.
i took it to a mexican man around the corner to put it together since dan and i couldn't figure it out and dad wasn't here.....
he did a great job of adjusting the seat and handle bars just right and he also put on my new basket and bell!! i was so happy and so eager to let it take me to school. i felt pretty good about it on the way, stopped to get a slurpee, and locked it up outside.
i guess i looked pretty sorry on the way back though. i was riding along the street just chllin when a man says "i like your bike."
"thanks! :)"
"buuuttt you need a helmet."
"heh...:)..:/....."
The law here is, you need a helmet if you're under 12 or something. then it's just recommended. buddy, even though i may look 12 on my 12 year olds bike, i am of legal age.
then a few minutes later i was really actually strugglin. i was riding through the park on what i thought would be a bike path but was actually a 2 lane road under construction which would be fine if you were driving but my wheels were getting caught in the grooves and i was bouncing around like a rag doll. so i decided to pull over and chill on the curb for a minute when someone drives by and says "you should ride on the sidewalk.....be careful..."

so i did take his advice and got on the sidewalk, even though it was covered with tiny rocks aka loose gravel aka my enemy from last summer and the reason for the scars on the whole right side of by bod. as i was riding in fear, an old man drove by with his windows down going soo slow because of traffic and in his italian accent yelled out "you've got a beautiful body!"
