weekend fun/wk 15.

my weekend spent in huntington was so fun. 

i got there late friday night. not too late to miss out on amanda and nephi's yummy homemade pizza though.

we ate and watched the not funny episode of the office. 

ugh, it's so awful. they should have stopped after season three. 

saturday morning, we woke up before the sun.

got ready for the hike, and left.

it was a "moderately easy" hike that i struggled through.

nephi posted about it here.

yes, we saw a live tarantula. (!!!)

it was such a fun weekend. 

my favorite part besides the food, beach, hike and family time was singing on rockband.

i also loved seeing nephi really rocking out on the 'guitar' while amanda sang T swift.

St. George

at the end of July, jon and I went to st. george with my family!

it was such a ball. we spent most of the time...in the pool.

but we also wore swimsuits backwards and stretched our limbs.

and we compared muscles. sorry jon...

on saturday, we hiked the narrows. 

i usually don't like to hike, but this was so fun.

i wonder why i don't like hiking? here...let me hold that for you.

i seriously loved hiking through the water.

and i loved playing with the doll.

(I meant to type this doll. the doll is pretty darn funny though.)

she is so precious.

we hiked as far as we wanted, then turned around. jon, sam, and I decided to get all the way in the water and just float down the river. it was so relaxing. and cold. 

the rest of the weekend was spent reading, nintendo-ing, and playing who wants to be a millionaire.

since i LOVED the hike soo much, this guy invited me to go hiking this weekend. 

it's called the bridge to nowhere. 

it is somewhat similar to the narrows, we'll be passing through water.

and it is ten miles. 

ten. 

miles. 

i haven't asked nephi yet if its ten miles in, ten miles back. 

i dont think i'll ask him until we finish.

oh, and i guess she can come too.

nephi talked me into it by sending me this email-

california summer!

hello from the west coast.

so last sundee dad and i woke up at 7 am. yes, 7 am. and we were on the road by 7:20. I told him i was surprised and happy we got such an early start and he said that it was because he woke up coughing and couldnt get back to sleep. that dad.

as soon as we left murray, i curled up and said goodnight. he said goodnight and i was out. i remember smelling mcdonalds at some point during the trip but didnt stir until we got to st george and he woke me up. he got me and amanda groceries at the costco there, he is such a doll! we've enjoyed the cooling sun screen, peanut butter pretzels, and 100 calorie packs that he supplied us with.

st george was short and sweet and our next stop was PRIMM.
yuck.
but i had to gamble.
he helped me.
i used two dollars, and won A dollar. so i really only lost one dollar.
luvs it.

i started work this week! its suuuuper stressful. i have never worked retail before. its hard getting to work three days a week, but once i'm there, i enjoy it! 

this is my store! stalk me.

so i've basically been enjoying time spent with nephi and amanda, new job and sunny california. one of my girlfriends from home was here! so i met up with her a couple times this week, it was so great. her missionary got home yesterdeay. CRAZY.
i also went to church today, finally getting much need social interaction.
(minus bein the 3rd wheel all week)

we even went to dland one night!! we only went on like 4 rides but it was soo much fun and not to mention- FREE!!
