its crazy being back. its not like a vacation, its so normal.
i'm really happy to be back. i've had a lot of alone time, wandering around the city, loving the humidity and the shopping and the people, all the crazy people.
i havent taken many pictures, but i will try to. and post them on here.
today i was taking the staten island ferry and there was a seagull flying next to the ferry the whole way from staten to manhattan which it like a 20 minute ride. and people were throwing nuts and m&ms off the side of the boat and the seagull was doing all these crazy dives and everything catching the food in the air before it hit the water.....it was the weirdest thing ever. why dont seagulls in utah do such things? if they did, they MIGHT be more respected.

i wanna wake up in a city that doesn't sleep.
i'm going to new york tomorrow.

i have no idea what it will be like. i'm so scared that i wont want to come home and that i'll regret ever moving back.
but i am so excited to see all of my friends, its going to be such a good reunion.

1. What is your occupation right now? Receptionist at some random. Aka, Pam Beesly. ( Thank you Kelly! i do the same thing )
2. What color are your socks right now? not wearing socks...
3. What are you listening to right now? rihanna take a bow. best song ev.
5. Can you drive a stick shift? thats a tough question. i had a friend teach me how to do it in may, and i did really well. i was driving around all by myself and stalled it like twice so yeah i thought i did. then lyndsi and i made this kid leave us his car and promised we knew how to drive stick (but under the impression that we both knew how to drive it) well turns out neither of us did, ODD. so after an hour of stalling this kids car who we met hours ago, we finally called our friend in st george to come save us. we were laughing so hard we were crying and i was an anxious mess, so shakey and weak.
6. Last person you spoke to on the phone? my grandma last night. and at work today.
7. Do you like the person who sent this to you? kelly. yes.
8. How old are you today? 20 years of age.
9. What is your favorite sport to watch on TV? i am lucky that no boys read my blog (except my cousins. i love you guys.) because i'm coming out right now. i HATE watching sports on tv. so much. as soon as i get to a friends house and espn is on, i am immediately turned off. and bored.
10. What is your favorite drink? i drink warm water 24.7, milk with pizza, and italian sodas if i ever go out. if you get a chance, get a raspberry vanilla italian soda. so good to me...so good to me.
11. Have you ever dyed your hair? yes i have. i used to do it in high school with those home kits with my friends. pretty funny. but i havent now for a couple years.
12. Favorite food? i like pizza, and i love chocolate raspberry balance bars. and i love my grans home cooking.
13. What is the last movie you watched? "watched" or WATCHED? i went to the house bunny the other night and i loved it, it is so cute. so lame but so funny. and last night ....watched walk the line. i love that movie and still dont know how it ends, though i've started it like three times. i always fall asleep..........
14. Favorite day of the year? different. last year my favorite day(s) were the few days before chase left, oddly enough. this year my favorite day was in feb when i surprised my family and came to visit. everyone was so happy to see me, which i totally didn't expect. i loved it.

How do you vent anger? drive and cry. one of my favorite books is Dreamland and the main charactors best friend cries and drives. i dont mean to, but i seem to always be in the car when i'm upset. and i listen to things like "saddest girl story", and "face down". then by the time i get out of the car i'm fine, AND no one knows i was ever upset. winwin.

29. Favorite dog breed? i do not like dogs. but if someone forced me to choose it'd be a black lab or something.

she is the typical married mormon who waited faithfully for her missionary, married him in the temple, loves teaching 2nd grade, loves scrapbooking doing arts and crafts, and LOVES her husband.
she is so dead on it makes me sick. but not sick enough to not read it.

good newz.
i thought i'd lost my life-long lucky streak, but i definitely haven't.
in the words of my good friend kanye west "to whom much is given much is tested." this has proved very true this past week. i really am blessed with so many things, i am a blessed and lucky woman and in turn i have to undergo some rare times of disappointment and frustration.
lizzie and i talked about some of our secret talents. some of them were practiced at a recent party on monday. i have a plenty, but would prefer to keep them secret, and i also am lucky in so many different ways but i fear that if i say or write them down, they will escape between my fingers.
anyway the whole point of this post is that i'm back to my old self, thanks to kanye.
"But only I could come up with some shhhh like this, I done played the underdog my whole career. I've been a very good sport, haven't I, this year? They said "he's going crazy and we seen this before"...but I'm doing pretty good as far as geniuses go.
You should go here and bow so hard till your knees hit your forehead.
I'm high up on the line, you can get behind me, but my head's so big you can't sit behind me."
he is the one we all hate to love because he is so cocky but it is so hot and such a good thing to listen to when you are feeling low. katie you've gotta admit that confidence is key, even if its coming from him.

do me a favor.
and write a blog about how you think it is dumb/weird/annoying/pointless that i'm vegetarian. you should make sure its really long with a lot of pictures. get everything out that you would want to tell me. include insults/jabs/jokes/sassiness. after you write it and post it, tell me about it and i'll pretend to read it. then do me another favor and never say any of those things to me again. it would be greatly appreciated and it would improve our friendship. you're the greatest.
