fail.

okay, you guys made me feel bad about the fact that i spent

$25

on ALL THAT FOOD!!! the other day. 

even though that means that all 18 of those items were only $1.40 which is really great for a big box of special k and not so great for a pack of starburst.

and technically it was 

$24!!!!

because i got a one dollar off for my next visit. 

amanda wins, because she was the closest. and katie was 2nd closest. 

okay, tomorrow is my grocery shopping day. 

i WILL do better than last time..

but probably not as good as this..

my sister is ridiculous. i'll get that good though, watch me....

i woke up to a call from my loved one in afghanistan. 

he woke me up at 8 and we got to talk for almost thirty minutes!!

when we hung up, i text my friend katie.

she responded saying that we were going on a hike!!

so i gathered all of my belongings and drove to her house. 

we drove about an hour to the start of the hike and walked about 2 miles downhill to a beautiful waterfall. it was so much fun and such a good hike...downhill.

the hike uphill was....quite difficult. it was really pretty, however.

we got home, showered and got ready to head straight to Catholic mass!

katie is Catholic and this was the first time i'd been to church with her. it was a really nice service and the church was beautiful!

then we went out to dinner...it was a perfect day date turned into real date. she is such a good replacement. just kidding, i really do love her.

and yes, i wore a skirt to church. i didn't take a picture, however. 

friday repeating outfit.

well, i had to wear the same things i wore earlier this week, but it worked.

taking pictures of myself is a pain in the neck.

i went to my interview. i'm not sure about it.
it seems very demanding.

the hours are a bit ridiculous.

i told them i don't work on sunday's, and they weren't too happy about it.

they also SERIOUSLY asked me how i would feel if i was supposed to work the day Jon got home from afghanistan and if i asked them last minute for the day off they said no. 

how would i feel?

how do you think i would feel.

i would quit on the spot, no doubt about it.

i have my job interview & i don't have any cute business skirts...

i am a bit weary about it...i told the interviewee that i don't work on sunday's and lets just say she didn't LOVE the sound of that.

I decided that I was going to introduce myself on the "Blizzard Bloghop".

If you already know me, this blog post will probably be a bore...

My name is Alexandra. I am married to a Marine who I have known since 2nd grade....we are both from Murray, Utah.
We went to elementary, Jr High, and High school together...
Once I graduated high school, I started going to a local community college.

There was a short period in 2008 when I lived in New York City. I went there for six months for a semester at the New York School of Interior Design. It was an amazing experience and I'll forever be grateful for the time I got to spend there.
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the big city.

My husband went on an LDS mission to Stockholm, Sweden were he spent two years preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

He joined the Marine Corps upon his arrival home and we started dating soon after...

One thing let to another, and we got engaged to be married!

I finished up my degree at the community college and got my Associates in Interior Design.
Four days later...we got married!

We are stationed at MCAS Miramar in San Diego. Jon was deployed soon after we moved here.

I am currently going to school at San Diego State University.
I am going for my bachelor's degree and my major is currently undetermined...

I love living here in the sunshine and warmth. It is a lot different then how I grew up!

I am anxiously awaiting my husbands homecoming and keeping myself busy with crafts, school and looking for a job...

oh, and i have a big cat with a tiny head who pees and sleeps in sinks.

mixing business with pleasure...

makes for a funky outfit.

its still going well...

not much else is going on in my life.

i have a job interview on friday...and school is pushing along.
i am happy.

I love not wearing any pants to school.

here i am, not wearing pants on day two.

i am already bored with this and mad that i don't have very many church clothes.

on an unrelated note, i may POSSIBLY have found a job.

i may also possibly join a christian sorority....FUNNY right??

wish me luck in both endeavors.  

i'm serious about the job. 

i don't know how serious i am about the God-fearing sorority.
