bloghop.

I decided that I was going to introduce myself on the "Blizzard Bloghop".
If you already know me, this blog post will probably be a bore...

My name is Alexandra. I am married to a Marine who I have known since 2nd grade....we are both from Murray, Utah.
We went to elementary, Jr High, and High school together...
Once I graduated high school, I started going to a local community college.
(high school graduation with bff)

There was a short period in 2008 when I lived in New York City. I went there for six months for a semester at the New York School of Interior Design. It was an amazing experience and I'll forever be grateful for the time I got to spend there.
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the big city.
                                               central park.                         times square.

bronx zoo.                       columbus circle water fountain.
cafe on my street. 84th and columbus.

My husband went on an LDS mission to Stockholm, Sweden were he spent two years preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He joined the Marine Corps upon his arrival home and we started dating soon after...
One thing let to another, and we got engaged to be married!
I finished up my degree at the community college and got my Associates in Interior Design.
Four days later...we got married!
We are stationed at MCAS Miramar in San Diego. Jon was deployed soon after we moved here.
I am currently going to school at San Diego State University.
I am going for my bachelor's degree and my major is currently undetermined...
I love living here in the sunshine and warmth. It is a lot different then how I grew up!

I am anxiously awaiting my husbands homecoming and keeping myself busy with crafts, school and looking for a job...

oh, and i have a big cat with a tiny head who pees and sleeps in sinks.

Nice to meet you! What a fun story you have. I don't know many people that knew their spouse for that long. And to go to the NYC school of design? That must have been a really fun experience!

See you around!

Just stopping by from the blog hop!

I'm a navy wife out here in CA also.. My hubby went underway just two months after we got married and right before I was supposed to move down here, so I know how hard it can be. Keep your head up!

P.S. I love your layout!

It's always nice to find a fellow Marine wife in the blogosphere. My husband and I are hoping to move to Miramar after he's done with his MOS school.

Found you from the blizzard blog hop and now a follower. Nice to meet you :-)
