schooling. i have two classes a week. an interior design class mixed with quick books. and a photoshop class. i'm very excited about it and so far the semester has been so easy.
i've been busying myself with being laid off. the gym i've been working at for a measly 4 (exaggerating) months got bought out. they're trying something new, so they've laid off the entire front desk staff. its so great. i've applied at a few places. no news yet.
if you hear of anything, please let me know and i'll have my resume ready to send them. thank you, really. <3
i've been wedding planning, and it is so fun. very frustrating at times, but overall very fun. jon moved to california and applied (civilian terms...ha) for leave. he'll probably know next week whether or not he gets it. pray for us!! anyway, wedding plans are coming along.
with help from SAM, vender suggestions from emma, style suggestions from amanda, listening ear from kalie, planning help from katie, and especially, jon. he has done everything he can from where he is. most important, listening to me ventventvent.
i've received and already paid off (with a credit card...does that count?) a speeding ticket for going 15 over. and yes, i do still go 15 over.
and i've been doing lots of crafts. so hard to plan a wedding when i'm too busy planning the furniture and accessories for our new apartment/house/condo.
I will post about this chair. and my many other chairs. later.

7 things about me. some going along with the blog.
1. in high school i got pulled over 6 times. all on state street. for all different things. burnt out head light, drunk driving (i wasn't drunk...the cop thought i was...it was TWO days after i got my license...he said i almost hit him. possibly the first (only....) time i ever dropped the f bomb. lyndsi was with me. i was so scared.), driving without my headlights on at night, etcetcetc. of those 6, i never got one ticket. ps i'm a great driver, despite what you may be thinking.
2. i'm a recent design blog addict.
3. i love chairs. love love.
4. sometimes i wish i was a graphic designer. it would make most things in life so much easier. including decorating our future home...ha.
5. i have a love/hate relationship with hot chocolate. i love it soo much! and hate it sooo much..
6. i hated school..up until i realized what i wanted to do. now i love going to school and love homework!

There are a few really cute antique shops near Ocean Beach (i think on Newport Ave. if not very close to that street.)
Have an awesome time in San Diego! Oddly, I still haven't been to the zoo. If you have the time on Sunday, around noon, walk around the "Countries" area of Balboa Park -- and bring lots of singles. All the countries have food there and they just ask for a small donation. I'm sorry to hear about the job. There's lots of stuff down here, but when do you arrive for good? And if mine was the site you saw the 7 things on, I'm sorry I didn't tag you -- I just like to get to know bloggers for some time before tagging them in things like that. Which is why I subscribed to your RSS feed -- so I could do precisely that.
ah you are so sweet. and yes, of course its your blog i saw it on. i love your blog!
i move to miramar in may, so i kind of need a job here before i go...i wouldn't mind finishing school, wedding plans, and getting ready to move all without a job. but its not really possible. yikes!
I can't wait for your wedding! it's going to be the event of the year! and one day I want you to come to my house and re-do everything in there for me. It's BLAH!
AJ has three sisters. I am the third one. Just in case anyone was wondering...
